The Football Kenya Federation (FKF) Women’s Premier League saw six matches played over the weekend, with some thrilling performances from various teams.

On Saturday, two matches were played, with Trans Nzoia Falcons taking on Kisumu All Stars at Ndura Sports Complex. It was a closely contested match, with both teams putting in a great effort. However, Trans Nzoia Falcons managed to secure a 1-0 win, with Mercy Auma scoring the only goal of the match.

In another match on Saturday, Ulinzi Starlets secured a convincing 5-0 victory over Kayole Starlets at Ulinzi Sports Complex. Lucie Nato scored two goals for Ulinzi Starlets, while Cindy Ngairah, Fasila Adhiambo, and Mercy Airo scored one goal each, contributing to their team’s impressive win.

League leaders Vihiga Queens suffered their third loss of the season as they were beaten 2-0 by Gaspo Women at Ruiru Grounds. It was a disappointing result for Vihiga Queens, who are known for their dominant performances in the league.

Zetech Sparks beat the league’s defending champions Thika Queens by a goal to nil. The match was tightly contested, with both teams fighting hard for the win. However, Zetech Sparks managed to come out on top, securing a crucial victory.
